Micah 5

9 E in quel giorno avverrà, dice l'Eterno, che io sterminerò i tuoi cavalli in mezzo a te, e distruggerò i tuoi carri; 10 sterminerò le città del tuo paese, e atterrerò tutte le tue fortezze; 11 sterminerò dalla tua mano i sortilegi e tu non avrai più pronosticatori; 12 sterminerò in mezzo a te le tue immagini scolpite e le tue statue, e tu non ti prostrerai più avanti all'opera delle tue mani. 13 Io estirperò di mezzo a te i tuoi idoli d'Astarte, e distruggerò le tue città. 14 E farò revenge in my anger and my fury, nations that do not avran heeded.

Questi primi versetti profetizzano l'arrivo di Cristo sulla terra ai tempi del popolo di Israele. Noi che veniamo dopo la nascita di Gesù, dovremmo rimanere stupefatti dal fatto che già dalla fondazione del mondo si annunciava l'arrivo di questo Messia, che effettivamente ha spaccato in due la storia.
L'unico personaggio di cui si leggono tante è profezie è Cristo... tuttavia qui leggiamo anche un riferimento alla madre di Cristo, Maria, che oggi è stata beatificata e messa quasi al pari del Figlio.
Si potrebbero scatenare discussioni dottrinali veramente accese, perciò mi limito ad esaurire il tutto con un'osservazione: se Maria fosse stata destinata veramente al ruolo che l'uomo religioso le ha dato, penso che in questo capitolo si sarebbe parlato anche di lei. Invece è solo Cristo ad essere innalzato, è lui che fa giustizia, è lui che pascerà il gregge e lui recherà pace.
Adesso possiamo dire quello che vogliamo, ma quando la Parola di Dio parla chiaro, c'è poco da dire. È lui che è autorizzato ad esercitare la forza di Dio ed è solamente lui che salva.
Attenzione dunque a seguire certe dottrine religiose che oggi vengono sbandierate come verità supreme. L'unica verità vera la leggiamo nelle Sacre Scritture e qualunque insegnamento che si discosta, non è parola di Dio, ma parola degli uomini e pertanto conduce lontano dall'Eterno.
Cristo è il fondamento di tutta la vera dottrina e l'unico degno di lode e ammirazione da parte dell'uomo. Tutte le altre figure servano pure da incoraggiamento e perseveranza, ma guai quando un uomo mortale prende il posto di Cristo nel nostro cuore.
Altro che Madonne, santi e qualunque altra sorta di beatificazione... l'unico in grado di compiere miracoli and worthy of grace is Christ, God became man.

Allora ecco che non sono e dottrine dell'uomo a portare a Dio, ma la fede di un cuore che sente veramente il bisogno di confidare nell'Altissimo. Sarà quel tale che capirà la vera semplicità del Vangelo e percorrerà ogni giorno la via con il Signore. Anzi, dirò di più... non ci sarà neanche bisogno di cercare di capire, perché l'uomo con la sua mente non può capire proprio niente.
Sarà lo stesso Spirito di Dio a guidare la persona per la retta strada, perché i mezzi umani non servono a niente quando si parla di fede.
